Maryville University is located in the West County suburb of Chesterfield just 22 miles from the bustle of downtown St. Louis. Whether a commuter or on-campus resident, our students enjoy a lifestyle that is decidedly Maryville. If you ask, students will tell you they don't just go to Maryville ... they Live Maryville. One look at our academic approach and campus facilities, and you'll understand what they mean.
At Maryville, academic excellence is our highest priority. Our enrollment of approximately 3,400 students includes 1,800 undergraduates, 1,000 Weekend & Evening College students and 600 graduate students. We pride ourselves on our challenging programs and the caliber of our student body. With individualized advising and career exploration, our Academic Success and Advising centers afford students every opportunity to excel.
We believe that inviting and comfortable living space is important to academic success. In the past 10 years, we have built five new student apartment complexes with commons that collectively house 600 students. Our two air-conditioned, coeducational residence halls offer additional living quarters for students desiring to stay on campus.
Maryville is tucked away in the heart of the suburbs on a 130-acre campus where natural beauty abounds. It's difficult not to be inspied by the rolling hills, wooded areas, creeks, two lakes and miles of walking trails.
There are plenty of opportunities to stay busy outside the classroom. Both residential and commuter students are active in student government, intramural sports and over 50 campus clubs and organizations.
When it comes time for our students to seek real-life career experiences, opportunities are close by. The adjacent Maryville Corporate Centre and St. Luke's Medical Center provide convenient access to internships.
